Man thinks highly of himself. He thinks he's so smart inventing and rationalizing things. But what man doesn't know is that in spite of his riches and knowledge, he lost wisdom and love which could only be found in God. What's more revolting is the fact that man even questioned God and even renounced God claiming that he [man] was created through some chemical reaction and biological evolution.
But in spite of this, God's promise remains. The freewill God gave man is the greatest manifestation of His love. God gave man a choice though He wanted man to love Him. But God's love is so great that He wanted man to want to love Him; yet this love was renounced by man.
God, inspite of this repulsion, chose to continue to love and forgive man despite of what he is.

God took a risk in giving man freewill.
If there are people in hell it is not God's will - it is man's choice.
So repent.
