A Man's Worth

Standing up -- for oneself, for one's principle, family, friends, loved ones and even God -- is not always easy. There will be times that our ability to stand up for what we believe in, what we love, will be put to the test by wealth, social acceptance and other personal comforts. The true test of a man is standing up for love and faith in the face of danger, ridicule and loss. How much we could sacrifice for love, truth, justice, freedom and faith (sounds like the preamble pala) determines our worth as a person.
Every Christian's mission is to spread the Wisdom of God and create change upon people's lives. It does not need to be a great influence; no matter how smal an impact we made even upon a single person's life will already make a difference.
If each of us amend our lives and influence at least one person to do the same, the world will become a better place to live in. But the process is not easy -- danger, ridicule and even death are difficult prices we have to pay for standing up for what truly matters to us; and that is the true test of man's courage; of man's worth as a person.
